Indy, rallied in the stretch to defeat a strong field of three-year-olds in a 1 1/16-mile allowance race on Feb. 20 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. prompting the colt's trainer, Ron Ellis, to step his charge up to stakes company in his next start. “I think we’re going in the San Felipe (Grade II on Mar. 16 at Santa Anita),” Ellis said. “Timing wise it’s very good. We’ll see what he can do. It will be a little step up for him, but we’ll see if he’s good enough."
